We truly value your time and are so grateful you've chosen The Glow Nook for your sunless tanning experience. To ensure we can give every client the care and attention they deserve, please take a moment to review our updated policies below.
CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE
Deposit:
- We ask all clients to provide a credit card to secure their appointment time. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your spray tan.
- Deposits are only transferable to reschedule your appointment up to two times. This deposit is applied to your final total at checkout.
- All completed tanning services are considered final sale and non-refundable.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
- We kindly ask at least 24 hours' notice for all cancellations or reschedules.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in a forfeited deposit.
- If you cancel the same day or "no-show", 100% of your appointment total will be charged.
- Once this charge is completed, you may then schedule a new appointment. If the card declines, a hold will be put on your profile in our system. All fees must be paid before booking a new appointment.
- All cancellations or rescheduling must be made online only via the link in your appointment confirmation email.
Reschedule Limit:
- To apply your deposit to a future service, choose "Reschedule" and select the same service type. Reschedules must be completed at least 24 hours in advance to retain your deposit.
- Each appointment may be rescheduled a maximum of two times. After the second reschedule, the full service price must be paid in advance to book again.
LATE POLICY / NO-SHOWS
We allow a 5-minute grace period, but arriving later may result in a shortened appointment or cancellation. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged 100% of the service total. Clients who no-show twice may be restricted from future bookings.

Feeling under the weather? Please let us know. We're happy to work with you to reschedule your appointment when you're feeling better—your health and safety are important to us.
GUESTS POLICY
To maintain a professional environment, we kindly ask that you do not bring children or pets to your appointment. You're welcome to bring one guest for support if needed.
SUNBURN POLICY
If you arrive with a fresh sunburn, we will need to reschedule your appointment. Spray tanning over a sunburn is not possible, and this policy is non-negotiable. You must wait at least 4 weeks after a peeling sunburn before booking a spray tan. Attempting a spray tan sooner can result in uneven or splotchy results.

Please note: Our sunless tanning solutions do not contain SPF and will not protect your skin from sun exposure. The Glow Nook and its staff are not responsible for any sunburns, skin reactions, or tanning results caused by sun exposure after your spray tan. We always recommend applying sunscreen daily.
Informed Consent:
By receiving a spray tan from The Glow Nook, you acknowledge and accept the following:
- You are voluntarily choosing to receive a cosmetic airbrush tanning service.
- You understand that results may vary based on skin type, prep, aftercare, and any hormonal or medication changes.
- Possible risks include allergic reactions, uneven fading, skin sensitivity, or temporary fabric staining.
- You have informed your artist of any relevant allergies, medical history, or sensitivities that could affect your tan.
Important Precautions:
- Let your artist know if you're pregnant, nursing, taking new medications, or experiencing any skin concerns.
- Hormonal changes (including menstruation or pregnancy), recent medications, and stress levels can affect tan development and longevity.
- You are responsible for following the pre- and post-care instructions provided. These help your tan develop evenly and last longer.
Final Sale Acknowledgement:
- Spray tan services are non-refundable once completed. Because every client's skin is different, we cannot guarantee identical results for all skin types or circumstances.
- No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction due to skin reactions, fading, or tanning results caused by factors outside of our control.
